DAX FUTURES MORNING UPDATE AS ON 29 Sept. 2022

DAX Futures Update : 29 Sept. 2022

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,209.0 with +0.04% percent +5.0 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,007.80 with a loss of -0.07% percent or -5.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,771.20 with +0.08% percent or +4.70 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,330.00 with a loss of -0.06% percent or –2.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The yield on the German 10-year Bund eased to below 2.15%, tracking the downward movement in UK Gilt yields, after the BoE stepped in to say it would buy long-dated UK government bonds to tamp down rising yields. Still, Germany’s 10-year government bond yield remained close to levels not seen since December of 2011, as major central banks engaged in an unprecedented monetary tightening momentum to curb soaring inflation. ECB officials said the central bank may need to raise interest rates by another 75 bps at its October meeting and move again in December to a level that no longer stimulates the economy. Soaring energy prices continued to hamper economic activity in the bloc, with September PMI data showing that the Eurozone and German private sectors contracted further for the third straight month. Elsewhere, the Federal Reserve hiked interest rates by 75 bps for the third time in its September meeting and signaled it will maintain borrowing costs high for a prolonged period.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,183.28 up with +0.36% percent or +43.60   point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,005.39 up with +0.30% percent or +20.80 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,765.01 up with +0.19% percent or +11.19  point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 29,683.74  up with +1.88% percent or +548.75 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,719.04 up with +1.97% percent or +71.75 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at  11,051.64 up with +2.05%  percent or +222.13  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,369.19 up with +0.75% percent or +195.21  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 17,466.89 up with +1.25% percent or +216.01  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,053.33 up with 0.27% percent or +8.27 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 56,954.70 up with +0.63% percent or +356.42  point at 12:15 PM.
