DAX Futures Update : 12 July. 2022

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,724.0 with aloss of -0.73% percent  -94.0 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,118.50 with a loss of -0.23% percent or -16.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,964.00 with a loss of -0.53% percent or -32.00 point.The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,445.00 with a loss of –0.46% percent or –16.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

European equity markets traded lower on Tuesday, with Germany’s DAX down almost 1% after a 1.4% drop in the previous session, as investors remain cautious ahead of key economic releases and the start of the earnings season in the US. The ZEW economic sentiment for Germany is due today and is likely to show analysts became more pessimistic. The US CPI report is due tomorrow and is seen pointing to a rise in inflation to near 9%. Meanwhile, the ongoing energy crisis, concerns the Nord Stream 1 shutdown could be extended, and rising covid cases in China also weighed on investors’ mood. Across sectors, automakers and miners were among the worst performers while utilities rose.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,336.66 with a loss of –1.77% percent or ?475.64  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 20,872.42 with a loss of –1.19% ercent or?251.78 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,281.47 with a loss of –0.97% percent or ?32.12  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 53,960.88 with a loss of –0.80% percent or ?434.35   point at 12:15 PM.
