DAX Futures Morning Update on 18 June

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,267.80  with a loss of -1.34% or -47.70 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,161.50 with a loss of -1.47% percent or -92.00  point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,936.00 with a loss of -0.31% percent or -15.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,216.00 with a loss of -1.44%percent or –47.00 point.


Market bulls remained in charge in early European dealing with US stock index and other risk assets higher as concerns over coronavirus began to fade on hopes of more efficacious treatment for most severe cases.

News that Dexamethasone an inexpensive steroid used for a wide variety of ailments has shown statistical promise in reducing death from COVID had the market buoyant at the start of European trade today.


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,382.14 up with +0.54% percent or +66.48 point. the FTSE 100 closed at 6,253.25 up with +0.17% percent or +10.46  point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,995.97 up with +0.88% percent or +43.52  point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,119.61 with a loss of -0.65% percent or ?170.37 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,113.49 with a loss of –0.36% percent or ?11.25 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 9,910.53 up with +0.15% percent or +14.66  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 22,355.46  with a loss of –0.45% percent or –100.30  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,435.95 with a loss of –0.19% percent or –45.46 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 2,939.24  up with +0.11% percent or +3.37point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 33,766.79 up with +0.77% percent or +258.87  point at 12:15 PM.
