The DAX Futures is trading at 15,768.50 with +0.17% or –38.00 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,261.00 with a loss of -0.22% percent or -16.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,897.50 with +0.63% percent or +43.50 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,264.00 with -0.26% percent or -11.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Germany’s retail trade slumped 2.5 percent from a month earlier in September 2021, following a revised 1.2 percent growth in August and missing market expectations of a 0.6 percent rise. Non-food sales tumbled 5.1 percent, led by textiles, clothing, shoes and leather goods, while on-line trade decreased by 2.0 percent. Meanwhile, sales of food, beverages and tobacco products advanced by 0.9 percent. Compared to the pre-crisis month of February 2020, retail sales in September were 3.7% higher.
