The DAX Futures is trading at 11,936.50 with  a loss of -1.63% or  -198.10 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 5,713.50 with a loss of  -0.73% percent or -42.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,760.50 with a loss of -0.87% percent or -42.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,056.00 with loss of -1.26% percent or -39.00 point.


Major bourses in Europe were lower during early trading on Wednesday, with the DAX 30 falling near 1.5% as investors await the outcome from the US presidential election as ballots continued to be counted and it will take some time to know final results. So far, results showed a tight race between President Trump and Democrat Biden although Biden is leading with 225 electoral votes while Trump picked up 213 votes and won Florida. On the macro front, services PMI for Spain came above forecasts and figures for Italy and final estimates for France, Germany and the Euro Area will also be in the spotlight. On the coronavirus front, Italy recorded its highest death toll in nearly six months on Tuesday and Hungary announced a new state of emergency.


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,088.98 up with +percent or + +300.70 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 5,786.77 up with + percent or +131.80 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 4,805.61 with + percent or +114.47 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 27,480.03 up with +percent or  +554.98 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,369.16 up with + percent or  +58.92 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 11,160.57 up with + percent or  +202.96 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 23,695.23 up with +percent or +399.75 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,963.11  with +percent or +21.20 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,277.44 with + percent or +6.37 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 40,410.02 up with +percent or  +148.89 point at 12:15 PM.
