DAX Futures Morning Update on 19 June 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,318.50   with a loss of -0.21% percent or -26.00 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,370.20  with a loss of -1.16% percent or -86.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,513.96 up with +0.077% percent or +4.24 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,438.00 with a loss of -0.17% percent or -6.00 point.


London stocks were set to edge up on Wednesday as investors eyed the latest UK inflation data and a policy announcement from the Federal Reserve.

The FTSE 100 was called to open seven points higher at 7,450.

Ipek Ozkardeskaya, senior market analyst at London Capital Group, said: “The second round of ballots confirmed that Boris Johnson is by far the favourite candidate to replace Theresa May as the Conservatives’ new leader and the UK’s next Prime Minister. Although Johnson’s leadership could jeopardise the past three years’ efforts to seal a suitable Brexit deal for both the UK and the European Union, the markets have already priced in the increased political uncertainties.


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,317.17  with a loss of -0.12% percent or -5.98 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,437.32   with a loss of -0.077% percent or -5.72 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,505.55  with a loss of -0.076% percent or -4.17 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 26,465.54 up with +1.35% percent or +353.01 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,917.75 up with +0.97% percent or +28.08 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,953.88   up with +1.39% percent or +108.86 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,333.87 up with +1.72% percent or +361.16 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,141.16  up with +2.34% percent or +642.39    point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,917.80 up with +0.96% percent or +27.65  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,187.76 up with +0.36% percent or +141.42 point at 12:15 PM.
