Oil prices and bond yields stabilised following their sharp increase earlier in the week, contributing to an improvement in broader sentiment. Telecommunications, software, and chemical stocks spearheaded sectoral gains, whereas industrials, travel-related stocks, and autos faced downward pressure.
Deutsche Telekom emerged as one of the leading performers, experiencing a 1.4% increase, subsequent to reports indicating that Elliott had acquired a stake in the company. SAP, Siemens Energy, and Heidelberg Materials experienced solid gains, each increasing by more than 1%, whereas Rheinmetall and Airbus fell behind, declining by 1.9% and 1.7%, respectively.
