The DAX Futures is trading at 15,454.0 with -1.23% percent -192.0 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,768.20 with a loss of -1.41%percent or -111.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is tradingat 7,237.20 with -1.34% percent or -98.30 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,228.00 with -1.45% percent or -62.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Electricity prices in Germany were down from record highs to hover around €130/MWh in March, helped by a surge in wind power generation and an expected decline in electricity consumption amid warmer weather. Additionally, Germany’s government has announced support for electricity, gas, and heating prices for private households and companies in 2023, following last year’s sharp rise in energy costs. Electricity prices in Europe’s largest economy hit an all-time high of €700/MWh last August as the region met the worst energy crisis in decades and concerns about Russian gas supplies mounted.
