DAX Futures Update : 05 Oct. 2022

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,604.0 with a loss of -0.48% percent -61.1 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,068.80 with a loss of  -0.36% percent or -25.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures is tradingat 6,003.80 up with -0.61% percent or -36.70 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,458.00 up with -0.52% percent or +41.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The trade surplus in Germany narrow sharply to €600 million in August of 2022, the lowest surplus since January of 1992, compared to €11.6 billion a year earlier. Exports jumped 21.2% year-on-year to €126.7 billion and imports surged 35.7% to €126.1 billion. On a seasonally adjusted basis, Germany trade surplus also narrowed to €1.2 billion from a downwardly revised €3.4 billion in July. Exports increased 1.6% to € 131.1 billion, of which €72.8 billion went to the European Union, down 0.8% from July. Outside the EU, shipments to the US surged 12% to €13.8 billion and 2.9% to China (to €9.2 billion). Imports were up 3.4% from July to €131.9 billion, with purchases from the EU rising 2.5% to €43.2 billion. Outside the EU, most imports came from China (up by 2.2%) and the US (5.3%).

For the day the Dow is trading at 29,490.89 with 2.66% percent or +765.38 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,678.43 with  +2.59% percent or +92.81  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 10,815.44 with 2.27%  percent or -161.89   point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,962.27 up with +2.85% percent or +746.48  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 17,079.51 with a loss of –0.83% percent or –143.32  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,024.39 with a loss of –0.55% percent or ?16.81 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 3,024.39 with a loss of –0.55% percent or -16.81  point at 12:15 PM.
