The DAX Futures is trading at 15,607.50 with a loss of  -0.42% or -65.50 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,198.80 up -0.27% percent or -19.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,798.50 with +0.74% percent or +50.00 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,203.00 with a loss of -0.45% percent or -19.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Germany’s consumer price inflation rate is expected to accelerate to 4.5 percent year-on-year in October 2021, the highest since October 1993 and compared with market expectations of 4.4 percent, adding to concerns over inflationary pressure in Europe’s largest economy. Preliminary estimates showed goods inflation likely accelerated to 7.0 percent from 6.1 percent in September, boosted by energy (18.6 percent vs 14.3 percent), while food inflation eased (4.4 percent vs 4.9 percent). In addition, services inflation is expected to tick down to 2.4 percent (from 2.5 percent), with rents inflation remaining unchanged at 1.4 percent. On a monthly basis, consumer prices are expected to increase 0.5 percent, after remaining unchanged in the two past months.
