The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,750.00  up with +0.62% percent or +41.50 point.The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,207.00 with +0.07% percent or +3.00 point.

 

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The IHS Markit Germany Manufacturing PMI fell to 58.2 in October of 2021 from 58.4 in September, but beating market forecasts of 56.5, preliminary estimates showed. The reading pointed to the slowest growth in factory activity since January, although it remained a strong one by historical standards. Production volumes continued to be held back by input shortages and an associated decline in demand from the automotive sector, with the Manufacturing Output Index dropping to a 16-month low of 51.1. At the same time, manufacturing new orders posted the smallest increase in the current 16-month sequence of expansion while cost burdens continued to rise faster, mainly due to metals, plastics and energy. Finally, business confidence was the lowest since July last year.
