DAX Futures Morning Update on 29 November 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 13,201.00  with a loss of -0.38% percent or -51.00 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,393.00  with a loss of -0.29% percent or -21.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,912.72  with a loss of –0.24% percent or –14.12 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,692.00 with a loss of -0.32% percent or -12.00  point.


It was a bearish day for the auto sector. BMW slid by 1.37% to lead the way down. Continental and Daimler were also amongst the worst performers, with losses of 0.89% and 0.90% respectively. Volkswagen saw a more modest loss of 0.65% on the day.

It was also a bearish day for the banks. Deutsche Bank fell by 0.87%, with Commerzbank down by 0.73%.

From the CAC, it was a bearish day for the banks. Credit Agricole fell by 1.34% to lead the way. BNP Paribas and Soc Gen saw more modest losses of 0.62% and 0.74% respectively.

Things were not much better for the French Auto sector, with Peugeot and Renault falling by 0.85% and by 1.45% respectively.


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 13,245.58  with a loss of –0.31% percent or –41.49  point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,416.43  with a loss of –0.18% percent or –13.35  point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,912.72  with a loss of –0.24% percent or –14.12 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 28,164.00 up with +0.35% percent or +97.53 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,153.63 up with +0.42% percent or +13.11 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,705.18 up with +0.66% percent or +57.24 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,293.91 with a loss of –0.49% percent or –115.23 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,355.16  with a loss of –1.99% percent or –536.04 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,871.98 with a loss of –0.61% percent or –17.71 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 40,756.34   with a loss of –0.91% percent or – 373.83  point at 12:15 PM.
