DAX Futures Morning Update on 27 May 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,057.00  up with +0.15% percent or +17.60 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,285.50  up with +0.14% percent or +10.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,300.50 up with +0.36% percent or +19.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,354.00 up with +0.30% percent or +10.00 point.


Overnight weakness bled through into the day session, with the ES trading down to a new low at 2815.25 after the 8:30 CT bell. After some back and fill up to 2828.75, the futures once again turned lower, in what would be grind that lasted until the final hour, and would see another new low at 2805.75.

Going into the final hour, stocks found some strength, and by the time the 2:45 cash imbalance reveal came out showing $345 million to sell, the ES had traded up to 2823.75, before dropping back down to 2815.75.

Some more buyers stepped in going into the end of the day, and the futures would go on to print 2822.75 on the 3:00 cash close, and 2821.50 on the 3:15 futures close.


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,011.04  up with +0.49% percent or +58.63  point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,277.73 up with +0.65% percent or +46.69 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,316.51  up with +0.67%percent or +35.15 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,585.69 with a loss of -0.74% percent or -190.92 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,826.06 up with +0.14% percent or +3.82 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,637.01  up with +0.11% percent or +8.73 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,182.58  up with +0.31% percent or +65.36 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,305.28  with a loss of -0.18% percent or -48.65   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,887.71  up with +1.22% percent or +34.71  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,710.44 up with +0.70% percent or +275.72  point at 12:15 PM.
