The DAX Futures is trading at 12,308.30  up with +0.04% percent or +4.60 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,386.00 up with +0.03% percent or +2.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,524.20 up with +0.33% percent or +18.20 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,430.00 with a loss of -0.12% percent or -4.00 point.


Recent German numbers have been lukewarm, as the eurozone’s largest economy is experiencing a slowdown. This has weighed on the euro, but the blue-chip DAX index shows no signs of slowing down. The index has soared in April, with gains of 6.7%. This is on track for the highest monthly gain since December 2016. On Wednesday, German Ifo Business Climate dipped to 99.2, shy of the estimate of 99.6 points. The indicator has softened since 2018, as weaker economic conditions have weighed on business confidence. Nonetheless, the DAX posted strong gains on Wednesday.

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,462.08   with a loss of -0.51% percent or -134.97 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,926.17 with a loss of -0.037% percent or -1.08 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,118.68 up  with +0.21% percent or +16.67 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,258.73  with a loss of -0.22% percent or -48.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,550.32  up with +0.0018% percent or +0.52   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,086.40  with a loss of -1.20% percent or -37.43 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,854.35  up with +0.32% percent or +123.49 point at 12:15 PM.
