DAX Futures Morning Update on 20 February 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 11,318.50  up with +0.09% percent or +10.40 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,137.20 up with +0.09% percent or +6.40 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,167.00 up with +0.03% percent or +1.50 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,241.50  with a loss of -0.02% percent or -0.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The impacts from potential duties on European, most notably German, automakers do not stop at the share price of BMW, Daimler AG and Volkswagen. Any enacted tariffs would likely exert downward pressure on the broader DAX, of which automakers constitute 10-12%, as well as the Euro.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 11,309.21 up with +0.089% percent or +10.01 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,179.17   with a loss of -0.56% percent or -40.30 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,160.52  with a loss of -0.15% percent or -8.01 point.
