DAX Futures Morning Update on 30 August

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,529.50  with a loss of -0.24% percent or  -30.50 point . The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,546.00  with  a loss of -0.26% percent or -20.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,494.50 with a loss of -0.20% percent or -11.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,448.00  with a loss of -0.23% percent or -8.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The DAX showed gains on Today, in response to an unexpectedly strong business confidence report in Germany. The Ifo Business Climate report improved to 103.8, easily beating the estimate of 101.9 points. This marked the first time this year that business confidence has improved, thanks to a strong German economy and a pause in the global trade war. On Wednesday, the news was less positive, as German GfK Consumer Climate dropped from 10.6 to 10.5 points, continuing the downward trend which has marked 2017. Back in January, the indicator was at 11.0 points, underscoring a decrease in consumer confidence.

India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,711.27  with a loss of -0.030% percent or  -11.66  point at 12:15 PM.
