DAX Futures Morning Update on 07 August

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,640.50 up with +0.50% percent or +63.00 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,626.00 up with +0.34% percent or +25.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,494.39  up with +0.31% percent or +17.22 point .  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,491.00 up with +0.40% percent or +14.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Hargreaves Lansdown, the investment firm, is reporting its full-year results on Tuesday but its shares are leading the FTSE 100 risers today – up 1.73% at £21.13.

Meanwhile, Royal Bank of Scotland, which published its latest financials on Friday is the biggest faller, with its shares down 2.5% at 251.25p.

The wider FTSE 100 is up 9.28 points at 7,668.38.

On the FTSE 250, Regus-parent company IWG dominates the fallers, down 23.1% at 230.65p after it called off talks with potential buyers.

It is closely followed by Spire Healthcare, down 21.9% at 192.85p, which issued a profit warning on lower spending by the NHS.

China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,779.37  up with +2.74% percent or +74.22  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,713.15 up with +0.056% percent or +21.26 point at 12:15 PM.
