DAX Futures Morning Update on 21 May

 The DAX Futures is trading at 13,065.50  with a loss of  -0.27% percent or  -36.00 point . The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,778.79  with a loss of -0.12% percent or -9.18 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,614.51  with a loss of -0.13% percent or -7.40 point .The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,557.00 up with +0.37%   percent or +13.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The DAX has been trading higher for nearly two straight months, with only one minor pullback along the way. As it currently stands, there aren’t any substantial resistance levels to contend with until the record high near 13600. This doesn’t mean the market will rise to that point, but it does mean that without levels or bearish price action, for now we’ll continue to give the upward trend the benefit of the doubt. Support on a decline arrives around 12900 and the trend-line off the March low.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,002.37 up with +0.31% percent or +72.01 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 31,330.84 up with +0.91% percent or  +282.93 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,211.37 up with +0.57% percent or +18.07 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,678.82 with a loss of -0.49% percent or  -169.48  point at 12:15 PM.
