Dax Futures Morning Update on 30 April

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,617.00 up with +0.16%  percent or +20.00 point . The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,472.00 up with  +1.36% percent or +100.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,435.50 up  with +0.54% percent or +29.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,458.00  up with +0.09%  percent or +3.00 point.


The German DAX posted an impressive reversal off technical resistance yesterday and a break below near-term upslope support could expose a larger shift in price. Keep in mind we still have the ECB interest rate decision on tap tomorrow morning- here are the levels to consider heading into the release.

The daily momentum signature has made a marked turn at the 60 threshold and suggests the risk remains for further losses while below the weekly highs. The pullback is now testing initial daily support at the 2015 high at 12395 with a break lower from here targeting the median-line backed by 12178. Broader bearish invalidation stands at the 12876 resistance confluence.

For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,502.21 up with +1.09%  percent or +80.78 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,483.19 up with +0.54% percent or +29.62  point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,580.87  up with +0.64% percent or +80.40 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 24,311.19  with a loss of -0.046% percent or -11.15 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,669.91 up with +0.11% percent or +2.97  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,119.80 up with +0.016% percent or +1.12 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,467.87 up with +0.66% percent or +148.26 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 30,756.32  up with +1.57% percent or +475.65  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,082.23 up with +0.23% percent or  +7.20 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 35,206.09 up with +0.68% percent or +236.39  point at 12:15 PM.
