The DAX 40, which is situated in Frankfurt, had a dip of more than one percent to about 23,700 on Wednesday. This change reversed the losses that it had experienced the previous day and caused it to slip behind its competitors. At the same time that traders were keeping an eye on the increasing tensions in the Middle East, they were also analyzing a batch of profits that corporations had made.

Rheinmetall was the company that experienced the greatest decline, with a drop of more than five percent, following the announcement of mixed results and weak projection for the year 2026 by the defense major. Following closely behind, Henkel had a fall of approximately 4% when the business announced that it anticipated revenues to continue expanding this year, but cautioned that it may experience a slower start due to adverse effects of foreign exchange.

Henkel’s announcement took place shortly after the announcement. There were also companies like SAP, RWE, Vonovia, Adidas, and Siemens Energy that were among the top laggards. These companies all experienced losses that ranged from 1.5% to 2.3%.
