On Friday, DAX have entered negative territory, influenced by apprehensions regarding elevated valuations within the tech sector, alongside some ambiguity surrounding the Federal Reserve’s policy decisions. While the longest government shutdown in United States history has concluded, the ultimate agreement has left significant policy issues unaddressed. The White House has indicated that the jobs report and inflation data from the previous month would “likely never” be made public. Data indicating a slowdown in the Chinese economy, attributed to weakening consumer demand and a worsening property downturn, seems to be impacting sentiment negatively. The benchmark DAX experienced a decline of 257.21 points, reflecting a decrease of 1.07%, settling at 23,785.70 recently.

Infineon Technologies has experienced a decline exceeding 5%. Rheinmetall has experienced a decline of 4.3%, whereas Bayer, SAP, and MTU Aero Engines have seen decreases ranging from 3% to 3.5%. Zalando, Deutsche Bank, Merck, Commerzbank, Adidas, Fresenius Medical Care, Volkswagen, Heidelberg Materials, and Fresenius experienced declines ranging from 1.5% to 3%. BASF, Deutsche Post, Scout24, RWE, Qiagen, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche Automobil Holding have experienced declines ranging from 1% to 1.4%.

Siemens Energy is experiencing a significant increase of over 10% due to robust performance results. Siemens Energy disclosed that its net income attributable to shareholders for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 amounted to 168 million euros, translating to 0.19 euros per share, in contrast to a loss of 292 million euros or 0.34 euros per share recorded in the previous year. Allianz is experiencing a 2.5% increase following the announcement of its third-quarter net income, which stands at 2.85 billion euros, reflecting a 15% rise from the previous year’s figure of 2.47 billion euros.

In its projections for fiscal 2025, Allianz anticipates reaching an operating profit of no less than 17 billion euros, aligning with the upper boundary of its full-year outlook range of 16 billion euros, subject to a variance of plus or minus 1 billion euros. The company indicated that the full-year operating profit is expected to fall within the range of 17 billion euros to 17.5 billion euros. Siemens has increased by nearly 1.5%, whereas Deutsche Telekom and E.ON have experienced slight gains.
