DAX Futures shows a modest increase on Monday, driven by positive sentiment regarding the alleviation of U.S.-China trade tensions, as negotiators from both countries have established a preliminary trade framework. In anticipation of the forthcoming meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping this week, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has indicated that Beijing intends to postpone export restrictions on rare minerals and reinstate purchases of U.S. soybeans. Market participants are closely monitoring the upcoming monetary policy meetings of the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank this week.

The benchmark DAX increased by 14.32 points, reflecting a rise of 0.06%, reaching 24,258.29 recently. Infineon Technologies is experiencing an increase of approximately 1.3%. Siemens Energy, Siemens, Commerzbank, and SAP have experienced an increase ranging from 0.6% to 1%. SAP, Allianz, Fresenius, Scout24, Merck, and Deutsche Post are experiencing modest gains.

Porsche AG shares experienced an increase of over 3% following the announcement of a third-quarter adjusted operating income of 967 million Euros, which was a smaller decline than analysts had anticipated. The carmaker experienced a significant decline in earnings, dropping by nearly 96% during the first nine months of 2025. This downturn can be attributed to substantial costs associated with the reduction of its electric-vehicle strategy, alongside a decrease in sales within the Chinese market.

Symrise, Beiersdorf, Brenntag, MTU Aero Engines, Daimler Truck Holding, and Vonovia have experienced a decline ranging from 1% to 1.5%. Bayer, BASF, Zalando, Fresenius Medical Care, Rheinmetall, Deutsche Boerse, and Adidas have experienced declines ranging from 0.4% to 0.9%. The Ifo Business Climate Index for Germany experienced an increase, rising to 88.4 in October from 87.7 in September, surpassing the anticipated figure of 88. The expectations index increased to 91.6, marking the highest level since February 2022, up from 89.7 in the prior month, whereas the current conditions decreased to 85.3 from 85.7.
