DAX Futures Update : 17 June. 2022

The DAX Futures is trading at 13,086.0 with +0.36% percent  +47.0 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,014.80 with a loss of  -0.56% percent or -39.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,905.20 up with +0.63% percent or +36.70 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,442.00 with +0.58% percent or +20.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany increased slightly to -28 in June of 2022 from -34.3 in May. Figures came in line with market forecasts of -27.5, as financial market experts see fewer dark clouds although several economic risks such as the consequences of the sanctions against Russia, the unclear covid situation in China and the gradual change in monetary policy remain. The current conditions subindex also improved to -27.6 from -36.5, better than expectations of -31. Meanwhile, inflation expectations for the Euro Area fell again to -32.4 points, 21.8 points below the value from the previous month.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 13,038.49  with a loss of 3.31% percent or –446.80  point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,044.98  with a loss of –3.14% percent or ?228.43 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,886.24 with a loss of –2.39% percent or -143.89   point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 29,927.07  with a loss of –2.42% percent or ?741.46  point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,666.77 with a loss of –3.25% percent or ?123.22   point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 10,646.10 with a loss of –4.08% percent or -453.06   point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 25,963.00 with a loss of –1.77% percent or ?468.20  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 21,061.07  up with +1.03% percent or +215.64 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,320.98 up with +1.08% percent or +35.60 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 51,214.47  with a loss of  –0.55% percent or ?281.32  point at 12:15 PM.
