The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,366.50 with a loss of -4.34% percent or -288.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,720.00 with a loss of -1.33% percent or -50.00 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The harmonized unemployment rate in Germany edged down to 3.1 percent in January 2022 from 3.2 percent a month earlier. This was the lowest jobless rate on record that previously hit in May 2019. The number of unemployed declined by 0.6 percent to 1.36 million while employment edged up 0.2 percent to 41.96 million. The number of persons in employment was still below the pre-crisis level. The youth unemployment rate, measuring job-seekers under 25 years olds inched down to a record low of 5.7 percent which previously touched in February 1991, from 5.8 percent in December.
