The DAX Futures is trading at 15,103.00 up with +0.39% or +59.30 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,483.20 with +0.39% percent or +29.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,920.50 with a loss of -0.37% percent or -26.00 point.The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,085.00 with +0.29% percent or +12.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Germany’s benchmark Bund yield fell to 0.23% from a 3-year high reached earlier in the week at above 0.3%, as global sentiment bounced and investors returned again to riskier assets amid talks between the West and Russia. On the monetary policy front, several ECB officials have been calling for an end to the ECB’s bond-buying programme, which is a precondition set by the ECB for raising rates. Still, ECB Chief Christine Lagarde reiterated that any change in the bank’s policy will be gradual. On the data front, German investor sentiment rose in February, although less than forecast, on expectations that restrictions to contain Covid-19 will ease.
