The DAX Futures is trading at 15,407.00 up with +0.05% or +8.00 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,543.20 with +0.16% percent or +11.70 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,987.80 with +0.12% percent or +8.30 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,142.00 up with +0.41% percent or +17.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany rose by 2.6 points to 54.3 in February of 2022 from 51.7 in the previous month, the highest since July 2021 but missing market expectations of 55. Investors expect an easing of pandemic-related restrictions and an economic recovery in the first half of 2022 and also project inflation to decline, albeit at a slower pace and from a higher level than in previous months. More than 50% of the experts now predict that short-term interest rates in the euro area will rise in the next six months.
