Dax Futures Update : 27 Sept 2021

The DAX Futures is trading at 15,656.50 with +0.79% or +123.00 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,079.00 up with +0.75% percent or +52.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,633.00 with a loss of -0.89% percent or -59.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,173.00 up with +0.88% percent or +36.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The Ifo Business Climate indicator for Germany declined for a 3rd consecutive month to 98.8 in September of 2021 from an upwardly revised 99.6 in August and compared to market forecasts of 98.9. It is the lowest reading in 5 months mainly due to ongoing supply shortages in the industrial sector. “Problems in the procurement of raw materials and intermediate products are putting the brakes on the German economy. Manufacturing is experiencing a bottleneck recession”, Ifo President Clemens Fuest said in a statement. Also, there are no signs such constrains will ease and the supply crisis is expected to last until at least the end of next year, according to Ifo economists.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 15,531.75 up with 0.72% percent or –112.22 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,051.48 with a loss of –0.38% percent or –26.87 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 6,638.46 with a loss of   0.95% percent or –63.52 point.
