Dax Futures Update : 17 August 2021

The DAX Futures is trading at 15,886.00 with a loss of -0.34% or -54.50 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,099.80 with a loss of -0.17% percent or -12.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 6,856.20 with a loss of -0.58% percent or -39.80 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 4,192.00 with a loss of -0.06% percent or -2.00 point.

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

prices in Germany jumped 11.3 percent year-on-year in July of 2021, the highest rise since October 1974 after the first oil crisis, following a 10.7 percent gain in June, amid a low base effect last year. Biggest upward pressure came from cost of wholesale petroleum products (33.9 percent), scrap and residual materials (95.6 percent), and metals and metal ores (59.2 percent). Other increases were also seen for iron ores, iron, steel, ferrous products (76.1 percent), raw and sawn timber (59.9 percent) and other intermediate products (28.6 percent). On a monthly basis, wholesale prices advanced 1.1 percent, easing from a 1.5 percent gain in June.
