European futures pointed to modest gains for stocks on Wednesday, as investors remained cautious ahead of the release of US Federal Reserve’s June meeting minutes due later today, as they look for more clues on when the central bank may begin tapering its asset buying programme. Equity markets posted an over 1% daily loss on Tuesday, as sentiment was recently hit by worries that the spread of the Delta variant would prompt another round of restrictions and by signs that global growth may have reached a peak and could start to moderate going forward.
