DAX Futures Morning Update on 20 May 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,232.00 up with +0.22% percent or +26.30 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,341.20  up with +0.18% percent or +13.50 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,366.00  up with +0.23% percent or +12.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,396.00 up with +0.24% percent or +8.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

After a considerable surge last week, the German DAX seems to have its sights set on a continuation rally. Luckily for bulls, the 23.6% Fib level at 12,169 and an ascending trendline from December’s low will look to provide nearby support. The trendline previously marked the lower bound of the ascending channel the Index found itself in during the first-quarter rebound. Should the support hold, the channel may become pertinent once more.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,238.94  with a loss of -0.58% percent or –71.43  point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,348.62 with a loss of -0.066% percent or -4.89 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,438.23 with a loss of -0.18% percent or -9.87 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,764.00 with a loss of -0.38% percent or -98.68   point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,859.53 with a loss of -0.58% percent or -16.79 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,816.28 with a loss of -1.04% percent or -81.76 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,301.73 up with +0.24% percent or +51.64 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,763.39 with a loss of -0.66% percent or -178.29   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,855.45  with a loss of -0.93% percent or -26.84 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,949.72 up with +2.69% percent or +1,018.95 point at 12:15 PM.
