DAX Futures Morning Update on 09 May 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,119.20  with a loss of -0.71% percent or -87.00 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,192.00  with a loss -0.42% percent or -30.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,360.50 with a loss of -0.71% percent or -38.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,348.00 with a loss of -0.65% percent or -22.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Germany’s seasonally adjusted harmonised unemployment stood at 3.2 percent in March 2019, unchanged from an upwardly revised figure in the previous month. It still remained the lowest jobless rate since April 1980, as the number of unemployed fell further while employment rose.

The number of unemployed people fell 0.7 percent to 1.38 million in March from 1.39 million in February, while employment went up 0.2 percent to 42.07 million from 41.99 million.

Compared with March 2018, unemployment dropped 7.4 percent from 1.49 million people and the number of employed rose 1.1 percent from 41.63 million.
