DAX Futures Morning Update on 30 april 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,317.50 with a loss of -0.26% percent or -31.80 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,392.00  with a loss of -0.01% percent or -1.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,526.50  with a loss of -0.14% percent or -7.50 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,438.00 with a loss of -0.23% percent or -8.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The FX markets were quiet at the start of the week, with the dollar slightly lower against the majors but up against the yen as traders were content to keep rates steady ahead of a very big week in event risk.

The EUR/USD rose to 1.1165 in morning London dealing while cable climbed to 1.2940 as short covering flows helped fuel the early moves despite weak eco data from the region. Euro-area confidence fell to its weakest level since September of 2016 as economic conditions on the Continent remain lackluster. But the pair got a boost after S&P refrained from downgrading Italian debt which helps fuel a rally in the sovereigns.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,328.02  up with +0.10% percent or +12.84    point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,442.71  up with +0.028% percent or +2.05 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,580.98  up with +0.21% percent or +11.63 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,554.39   up with +0.042% percent or +11.06 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,943.03 up with +0.11% percent or +3.15 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,161.85 up  with +0.19% percent or +15.46 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,258.73 with a loss of -0.22% percent or -48.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,705.32  with a loss of -0.63% percent or -187.49   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,078.34  up with +0.52% percent or +15.84 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,887.18  with a loss of -0.46% percent or -180.15 point at 12:15 PM.
