DAX Futures Morning Update on 29 March 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at  11,508.20 up with +0.18% percent or +20.70 point. The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,187.80  up with +0.35% percent or +25.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,314.50  up with +0.39% percent or +20.50 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,260.00 up with +0.12% percent or +4.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The first move after the 8:30 CT bell was a quick pop up to 2831.00 to test the Globex high, followed by a dip down 2817.50. From there, the futures took another shot at the highs, but fell short, and double topped at 2828.50. After that, the ES spent the rest of the morning selling off, printing a low 2791.50 just before 11:00 CT. It was a relentless selloff with very few pullbacks.

As European markets closed, the ES began to recover, and by noon had traded back up to 2806.00. The strength continued well into the afternoon, and the futures eventually rallied to 2814.75. As the final hour rolled around, the ES began to fall back a little, trading down to 2806.50, but buy imbalances began to show up around 2:30, helping push the futures up to 2816.25.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 11,428.16  up with +0.080% percent or +9.12 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,234.33 up with +0.56% percent or +40.14 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,296.54 with a loss of -0.088% percent or -4.69 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,717.46 up with +0.36% percent or +91.87 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,815.44 up with +0.36% percent or +10.07 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,669.17  up with +0.34% percent or +25.79 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,205.81 up with +0.82% percent or +172.05 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,032.67 up with +0.89% percent or +257.46  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,090.76  up with +3.20% percent or +95.81 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,576.24  up with +1.16% percent or +443.36 point at 12:15 PM.
