DAX Futures Morning Update on 13 March 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at  11,493.00  with a loss of -0.18%  percent or -21.30  point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,055.00  with a loss of -1.45% percent or -104.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,245.80  with a loss of -0.37% percent or -19.70 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,209.00  with a loss of -0.19% percent or -6.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The DAX has posted slight losses on Tuesday. Currently, the DAX is at 11,517, up 0.24% on the day. On the release front, there are no German or eurozone events. On Wednesday, the eurozone releases industrial production.

With no fundamentals out of Germany or the eurozone, much of the market focus is on the Brexit saga. Asian markets climbed on Tuesday, after Prime Minister May said she had secured “legally binding” changes to the withdrawal agreement, which will be brought before parliament later on Tuesday. However, the DAX was unable to consolidate the gains, and is in red territory in the European session.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 11,524.17 with a loss of -0.17% percent or -19.31 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,151.15 up with +0.29% percent or +20.53 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 5,270.25 up with +0.082% percent or +4.30 point. 

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,554.66 with a loss of -0.38% percent or -96.22 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,791.52 up with +0.30% percent or +8.22 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,591.03 up with +0.44% percent or +32.97  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,290.24 with a loss of -0.99% percent or -213.45 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,789.40   with a loss of -0.45% percent or -131.47  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,026.95   with a loss of -1.09% percent or -33.36 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,630.92  up with +0.25% percent or +95.26 point at 12:15 PM.
