DAX Futures Morning Update on 28 January 2019

The DAX Futures is trading at 11,225.00  with a loss of -0.31% percent or -34.80 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 6,722.20 with a loss of -0.39% percent or -26.30 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,895.50  with a loss of -0.56% percent or -27.50 point.  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,139.50  with a loss of -0.25% percent or -8.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The British currency growth is particularly noticeable against the {{1|euro}}, as the eurozone economy, on the contrary, saw weak economic data this week: at the beginning of the week the IMF sharply reduced its growth forecasts for the eurozone countries in 2019, and on Thursday EUR was under pressure due to disappointing PMI estimates. On Friday, Ifo data also highlighted slowing. Their Business Climate indicator fell to almost 3 years lows.

For the day the Dow is trading at 24,737.20  up with +0.75% percent or +183.96 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,664.76 up with +0.85% percent or +22.43 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,164.86 up with +1.29% percent or +91.40 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,554.06  with a loss of -0.055% percent or -15.13 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,596.98  with a loss of -0.18% percent or -4.75 point.
