DAX Futures Morning Update on 22 November

The DAX Futures is trading at 11,237.20  up with  +0.08% percent or +8.70 point.The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,050.20 up with +0.23% percent or +16.20 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 4,947.50 with a loss of -0.07% percent or -3.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures trading at 3,137.00  with a loss of -0.10% percent or -3.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

London stocks finished higher on Wednesday, helped along by well-received results from Johnson Matthey as Theresa May headed to Brussels for crunch talks on her Brexit deal.

The FTSE 100 was up 1.47% or 102.31 points to 7,050.23, led by miners, oil producers and banks. The pound was 0.1% weaker against the dollar at 1.27711 and 0.27% lower versus the euro at 1.1216.

Also helping investor sentiment was a bounce on Wall Street following the heavy selling sustained during the previous session, when the Dow slumped more than 550 points and the Nasdaq lost just under 120 points, adding to Monday’s heavy losses.

For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 11,244.17 up with  +1.61% percent or  +177.76 point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,050.23  up with +1.47% percent or +102.31 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 4,975.50  up with +1.03% percent or +50.61 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 24,464.69  with a loss of 0.0039% percent or  ?0.95 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,649.93 up with +0.30% percent or +8.04 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 6,972.25  up with +0.92% percent or +63.43  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,646.55 up with +0.65% percent or+139.01 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,067.30 up with +0.38% percent or +94.08 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,645.43  with a loss of -0.23% percent or  -6.07 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 35,179.41  with a loss of -0.053% percent or -18.80 point at 12:15 PM.
