DAX Futures Morning Update on 17 August

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,232.50 with a loss of -0.09% percent or -11.00 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,567.80 up with +0.34% percent or +25.80 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,360.07 up with +0.21% percent or +11.06 point .  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,384.00 up with +0.15% percent or +5.00 point.


Germany’s annual inflation rate was confirmed at 2 percent in July 2018, slightly below the previous month’s 2.1 percent. Food inflation eased while prices of services and energy rose at a faster pace.
Prices of goods rose at a softer 2.4 percent in July, compared with 2.8 percent in the previous month, as food inflation slowed while energy prices rose further. Prices also increased for newspapers and periodicals (4.8 percent), beer (4.0 percent) and tobacco products (3.5 percent). However, prices were down for consumer electronics (-5.5 percent), information processing equipment (-4.2 percent), clothing (-2.0 percent).


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,231.84 with a loss of -0.044% percent or -5.33 point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,576.18 up with +0.26% percent or +19.80 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,360.71 up with +0.22% percent or +11.70 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,558.73  up with +1.58% percent or +396.32 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,840.69  up with +0.79% percent or +22.32 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,806.52 up with +0.42% percent or  +32.41 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,270.38 up with +0.35% percent or +78.34 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,213.41 up with +0.42% percent or 113.35 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,668.97 up with +1.34% percent or  +36.23  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,960.25 up  with +0.79% percent or +296.69 point at 12:15 PM.
