DAX Futures Morning Update on 14 August

The DAX Futures is trading at 12,429.00 up with +0.48% percent or +59.50 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,631.00 up with +0.01% percent or +1.00 point. The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,434.96  up with +0.42% percent or +22.64 point .  The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,427.00 up with +0.47% percent or +16.00 point.


Prices of goods eased to 2.4 percent from 2.8 percent in a month earlier, as food inflation slowed. Prices also increased for newspapers and periodicals (4.8 percent), beer (4.0 percent) and tobacco products (3.5 percent). However, prices were down for consumer electronics (-5.5 percent), information processing equipment (-4.2 percent), clothing (-2.0 percent).

Cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 2.6 percent, following a 3.2 percent increase in June. Price increases were observed for all categories, especially edible fats and oils (6.4 percent), of which fruit (5.5 percent); and dairy products and eggs (4.0 percent), and vegetables (3.1 percent).


For the day Germany’s DAX closed at 12,438.38 up with +0.64% percent or +79.64 point.the FTSE 100 closed at 7,655.74 up with +0.17% percent or +13.29 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,430.58  up with +0.34% percent or +18.26 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,187.70 with a loss of -0.50% percent or -125.44 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,821.93 with  a loss of -0.40% percent or -11.35 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,819.71  with a loss of -0.25% percent or -19.40 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,356.08 up with +2.28% percent or +498.65 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,719.23 with a loss of -0.78% percent or -217.34 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,780.96 with a loss of  -0.18% percent or  -4.91  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,892.07 up with +0.66% percent or +247.17 point at 12:15 PM.
